• Northern Ireland: my travel guide

Traveling in Ireland is like eating very tart candies. Childish happiness to find the taste of simple things, to be carried away by a flood of sensations that we have often known - the beauty of a beautiful landscape, the kindness of people, a Guinness in a pub, a Fish & Chips quickly swallowed - but, all readily available at the same place. An accumulation of simple pleasures, which have the advantage of always being at hand, packaged in a landscape conducive to a fertile imagination of fairy tales. Especially after seeing The Song of the Sea.

    Northern Ireland: my travel guide

I was invited to stay in Northern Ireland (Ulster) in September 2018 - and I fell in love with it. Because of the sheep, the whiskey, the joviality of the Irish, and their good-natured mind; because of the beautiful landscapes, dramatic, epic, impressive. Because of the gastronomy, which has progressed enormously during the last ten years, pushing to oblivion the bad reputation that could have the British cooking in France. So be aware that there is no longer any question of serving mint sauce with your overcooked steak, and that there is a great tendency to transhumance British over-graduates who, tired of life in London (and worried by the Brexit), come to settle in Ireland to open small cafes, vegan restaurants, quality organic groceries, etc. Healthy, good, local profusion.
